The Brent Bays Foundation, Inc. is an organization of volunteers whose purpose is to raise money for individuals in and around the Gardner, KS area who have been financially impacted by a battle with cancer.  In order for us to fulfill our purpose, a plan has been created so that the Board of Directors of this Foundation can select and award candidates with monies raised during Foundation events.

People who are in a current battle with cancer, whether physically or now just financially, can apply to receive a monetary distinction. For the 2010-2011 year, the Brent Bays Foundation, Inc. will host a 5K run/walk and have multiple other local fund raisers so that we can add to our wallet year-round. Disbursements will be awarded twice annually, leaving only enough in the foundation wallet to cover forseen costs for the next event(s).

Profits made during fund raisers will be awarded to multiple distinction recipient(s).

Applicants will submit a simple, one-page application.

Applicants will attach at least one medical bill that indicates the family's financial battle with cancer.
